By the mid 1990s, Giant Step's merch company - known as Jazzy Threads - was selling its wares from London to Tokyo. In 1996, Giant Step asked Phil Frost to design a t-shirt. The New York artist creates work that combines the raw, gritty edge of the street with an elegant, painterly aesthetic. Besides numerous shows all over the world, he has also designed album artwork for DJ Shadow and Groove Collective to name a few. This is a reproduction of the original 1996 shirt.
Printed on a Bella + Canvas 100% cotton base. This tee is 100% sweatshop-free - dyed and cut in the USA and then assembled in either the USA or Central America.
